The heart, eyes and brains of omega

Omega fatty acids are essential for heart, eye and brain health. The human body can’t produce its own omega fatty acids, why is why it’s vital to get these sources from food sources. Omega-3’s can be found in plants. It’s a common misperception that omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish. It’s actually the microalgae that the fish eat that provides the source of omega-3. Omega-6’s can also be found in plants, seeds and nuts. Omega-6 fatty acids reduce heart disease, lower unhealthy cholesterol levels and increase good cholesterol levels. It’s another misconception that omega-6 sources are found in fish. Both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids can be found in chia seeds, flaxseeds, hemp and sacha inchi (all ingredients that we include in our VEGAN OMEGA). We go to the source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (the plants) and also save fish while we’re there. This is the heart, eyes and brains behinds our operation! Fish have a heart, eyes and brains too by the way! They’re sweet, conscious and intelligent, which is why we meet them heart-to-heart, eye-to-eye and with lots of brain power (except that they might be a little smarter than us, but we won't tell anyone!). Support the heart, eyes and brains of VITUS® VEGAN OMEGA by choosing a fish-free omega. Do it for the fish! 🐟
