Key priorities include NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and achieving overall sales objectives and targets within an EXISTING CUSTOMER PORTFOLIO.
Regarding NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, you will identify, approach, present and close sales opportunities across metropolitan Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT. This will include the successful sell in of our brands to customers across multiple channels, inclusive of ‘offline’ and ‘online’.
You will manage and grow the EXISTING NSW CUSTOMER BASE by increasing our brand and product range, distribution and market share within each account, inclusive of Key Accounts and Banner Groups. You will successfully sell in new brands and products and execute promotional activity across the brand portfolio and enhance opportunities for healthy repeat sales via a combination of training and in store merchandising execution.
By leveraging the excellent commercial relationships, you are able to develop or already have, throughout various channels including Natural Health/Health Food stores, Pharmacy, Grocery and/or FMCG – you will achieve excellent sales results on an ongoing basis which align with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Your customers (potential and existing) will include well known National and International retailers, banner groups and independent retailers.
As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will thrive in a self-managed territory which enables you to operate “in the field” for around 90% of your working week, with the balance being spent in your home office environment, based in the Sydney metropolitan area.
