HAVE A VERY VEGAN CHRISTMAS
This one’s for our vegan plant-based lovers this Christmas! We know that Christmas can be a joyous yet stressful time for vegans. If you feel like the vegan black sheep of the family (we love all sheep by the way), then this one's for you.
Sharing a vegan lifestyle is inspiring. It’s especially inspiring when it’s shared through delicious vegan food. If they say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, then we say that the way to a non-vegan’s heart is through their stomach! Vegan food is super easy and really tasty. Seeing as Christmas is all about sharing, then why not share our amazing Christmas Pudding with your loved ones this festive season. The proof is in the pudding - it’s pretty incredible if we say so ourselves. We also believe that seeing and tasting is believing.
Trying vegan food for the first time is like Fabio’s, “I can’t believe it’s not butter” commercial. “I can’t believe it’s not meat” or “I can’t believe it’s not dairy” are similar words that a non-vegan describes after experiencing their very first vegan meal. Whilst digesting the ‘celebration’ of eating turkey, ham, seafood or other animal-induced products can be a tricky time for animal lovers (it’s not exactly a celebration for animals), we do believe in inspiring change. Digesting a healthy, tasty and feel-good vegan-inspired dish inspires others to try a change too. Whether you’re vegan or non-vegan (like we said, we love all sheep), we inspire you try some plant-based goodness this Christmas.
Here are a few Christmas-inspired vegan recipes that we love. Try @olivewoodvegan’s Vegan Roast Butternut’s with Mushroom and Herb Stuffing, Vegan Raspberry and Coconut Trifle, Lime and Coconut Pie (which uses our own Spirulina powder), or Savoury B12 Roast Veg Rub (below).
